I Believe in Using the Creative to Educate and Inspire Both Adults and Kids

With decades of experience running workshops and residencies in remote and regional Australia, while writing award-winning plays for Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), I am firmly embedded in what engages young people.

As part of the ABC stable for more than a decade, I have written, presented, and produced for shows such as the iconic Play School and interstitial series Moodies, where little people explore big feelings.

I love creating kids’ content and events that get little people moving, and with my background in yoga, help children practice mindfulness in a playful way.

And with the mental health pandemic currently gripping our young people, I believe it’s imperative we share any tools we can, in order to empower them to practice mindfulness, move their bodies, learn to breathe, calm their minds and access their creativity.

Live Yoga and Mindfulness Experiences for Kids

I love creating kids' content and events that get them moving, breathing and practicing mindfulness in a playful way.

Live experiences like Storytime Yoga events at The Australian Museum, or the City of Sydney pop up lawn library bring kids together to move, breathe and play.

Online Yoga and Mindfulness Content for Kids

Online content like Storytime Yoga for the NSW Education Department’s Education Live series or Moodies interstitial series we created for the ABC (which explores big feelings for little people), brings mindfulness into the comfort and convenience of your home.

You can watch Moodies on ABC iView or explore some more of my kids yoga and mindfulness content below

Pregnancy Yoga

As a Play School presenter, I’ve been around thousands of kids

However, when you become a parent you realise no matter how many hours you’ve spent on the mat, on a meditation retreat, or with other people’s kids, you are entering a brand new battlefield.

The real yoga begins.

Needless to say, there is no way I could have survived pregnancy and parenthood without yoga. Which is why I created my Pre and Postnatal Yoga program in addition to my kids mindfulness content.

I am also thrilled to share my new book, Find Your Strength, making this ancient wisdom accessible to all parents. Find Your Strength is out 29 December 2021.
